The former Himalayan Kingdom of Sikkim or Denjong as the local inhabitants call it, is now one of states of the Republic of India. The inhabitants of Sikkim are majority migrant Nepalese, Lepchas (the aborigines), Bhutias (pre-1959 Tibetan emigrants), Tibetans and people from all parts of India. Sikkim is surrounded in the north by Tibet, Nepal in the west, Bhutan in the east and West Bengal in the south.

The cinemascope snow-clad Mt. Kanchenjunga is regarded a holy mountain by the Sikkimese. Kanchenjunga overlooks its valley, turquoise lakes, bubbling steams and roaring deep gorges. Gangtok is the capital of the State of Sikkim and is immersed in mysterious mist, rows and rows of fluttering prayer flags. Sikkim has a rich culture heritage and inhabited by ever-smiling people. Quite recently major portion of SIKKIM has been opened to both the domestic and foreign visitors. Day 01	Pick-up from Phuentsholing (Bhutan) or SAARC Airport, Bagdogra, Siliguri, North Bengal (India) or from Kakarvita (Nepal border town). Drive to Gangtok (capital of State of Sikkim). Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 02	Morning sightseeing of Enchey Monastery, Handicraft Center, Flower Exhibition, Research Institute of Tibetology. Afternoon: sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery.
Day 03	Tour of Podong Monastery and Labrang Monastery.
Day 04	Excursion to Chhangu Lake and surrounding area.
Day 05	Drop to Nepalese border or SAARC Airport (Siliguri, India).
